Oncocritical care is specialized branch dealing with management of cancer patients experiencing life threatening complications.These patients have unique pathological characteristics which are managed by critical care specialists and directly improve patient’s survival and quality of life.Aim of this fellowship is to train doctors working in critical care areas to handle challenging conditions due to immunosuppression,post CAR-T cell therapy,or toxicities of chemotherapy and other life threatening conditions.

Minimum Qualification:

MD in anesthesia , respiratory medicine or emergency with minimum one year experience in Critical Care.

Eligibility:

  1. Candidate must be a life time member of Onco Critical Care Society.
  2. Medical professional with requisite qualifications, engaged in Non Oncology Practices may be considered on the merit of their experience.
  3. Preference will be given to sponsored candidates.
  4. Registration with Delhi Medical Council is a must.
  5. Candidates who do not have DMC registration would have to apply within 1 month of joining the Fellowship, Failure to do so would lead to cancellation of your candidature.

Course Fee:

Selected candidates will be charged a sum of Rs. 20,000/(Rupees twenty thousand only) at the time of joining the course. This amount is payable through bank draft, drawn in favour of OCCS (Onco Critical care society). (www.oncoccs.com). This fee is not refundable if the candidate leaves the course in between. This fee includes the lifetime membership of the society.

Boarding / Lodging:

Accommodation is to be arranged by the candidate as no accommodation is available in the Institute. However, meal facilities are available through F&B Department, on payment at prescribed rates.

  1. All shortlisted candidates of fellowship course shall be informed in due course for the schedule of face to face interview / online interview.
  2. Please do not approach any member of RGCIRC for any reference or canvassing. It will lead to disqualification of your candidature.

  5. Joining of selected candidate is subject to medical fitness.
  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interview.
  7. The fellowship is a full time course for 6 months.
